The Preparation: The most important factor in quality painting is preparation. We use clean tarps to protect your floors. Prep walls with fast dry plaster. No-bleed tape for ultra clean lines.
The Materials: Dunn Edwards paint seems to be the preference of most painting contractors in Orange County, I think because it’s less expensive. I find Dunn Edwards Paint to be thinner in viscosity and poor in coverage. Our choice is Behr Painting products, especially the Behr Ultra (Primer plus Paint) is of superb viscosity and coverage.
The Painters: Of course materials are always an important part of a great painting job, but the one who holds the sander, brush and roller, dictates the results both functionally and aesthetically. Very often, we pitch in and help with the actual painting. Other times we will meet our painters on the job for periodic supervision and instruction. We require a lot from our painters so we compensate them well, which keeps them highly motivated.
The Guarantee: We offer a 5 year prorated limited warrantee against peeling, cracking and delaminating. Your house must qualify.
