We’re wrapping up #NationalCyberSecurityMonth with a fourth and final tip for how to stay safe online. And this time, the focus is on giving donations online. Even though websites like GoFundMe are easily accessible platforms to request and receive monetary donations, fraud can still occur when you aren’t expecting it. If you decide to donate money on an online platform, triple check the source of the donation campaign to verify their legitimacy and make sure they are not a scammer posing as a real charity or cause.

If you’re eligible to receive a stimulus check from the federal government, you may be wondering when to expect it. Direct Deposit disbursements started depositing into accounts on December 31, 2020. Mailed checks are expected to distribute the week of January 4, 2021.
