Kathy Y. Jones MD, FPMRS, FACOG, is the founder of Orlando Urogynecology, a private practice dedicated to female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, better known as urogynecology. Dr. Jones was the first female urogynecologist in central Florida, and she’s devoted her Orlando, Florida, practice to providing hope and advanced treatment to women who suffer from urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
Dr. Jones uses the latest technology and techniques to help her diagnose and treat all issues that affect female health. She offers the da Vinci® method to perform minimally invasive hysterectomies, and she’s equipped with laser therapies to help with vaginal rejuvenation.
Dr. Jones received her medical degree from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University Medical Center in New York and completed her fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Wayne State University Detroit Medical Center. In 1999, Dr. Jones returned to the Orlando area.
Dr. Jones is a board-certified OB/GYN and a member of the American Medical Association, the American Urogynecological Society, the Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Society, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Dr. Jones currently has privileges at Florida Hospital Orlando, Florida Hospital Celebration Health, Florida Hospital Winter Park, and Sand Lake Surgery Center.
