Tim Chowdhury, MD, is an interventional physiatrist and pain physician whose primary focus is to give his patients the best possible interventional treatment options to meet their specific needs and goals. At his practice, Ortho Spine Rehab Center, with two locations in Dublin and Marion, Ohio, Dr. Chowdhury specializes in treating people who suffer from chronic pain and disability, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health care.
Dr. Chowdhury earned his medical degree in 1987 at Chittagong Medical College in Bangladesh, which is the nation’s second-ranked medical school. He then came to the United States for an internship in internal medicine at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in New York in 1998. From there, Dr. Chowdhury completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation in 2002 at Albany Medical Center in New York. While there, he also had the honor of becoming chief resident.
After gaining hands-on experience at Spine Sports & Industrial Rehab and Pain Care Specialists, both of which are located in Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Chowdhury opened Ortho Spine Rehab Center in 2006.
To ensure that he stays abreast of the latest science, Dr. Chowdhury is a diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Board of Pain Medicine, and American Board of Independent Medical Examiners.
He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
