The team at Orthopaedic Associates of Connecticut is pleased to welcome Dr. Benjamin Clippinger to our practice. In addition to general orthopedics and sports medicine, Dr. Clippinger specializes in the treatment of hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow conditions, peripheral nerve injuries, and soft tissue reconstruction.
Dr. Clippinger graduated from Stony Brook University’s Renaissance School of Medicine and completed the Tufts Combined Hand Surgery Fellowship at Tufts Medical Center & New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. Dr. Clippinger is a member of the American Medical Association and American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
During his fellowship, Dr. Clippinger worked closely with the Boston Celtics and the Free Jacks rugby team. As a former collegiate athlete and competitive cyclist, he understands the importance of upper extremity function in sports and daily life.
