Opt is different from other physical therapy practices because our therapists use a hands-on approach in conjunction with specific modalities. Manual (hands-on) therapy consists of myofacial release techniques, stretching of restricted structures and specific strengthening of weak muscles, soft tissue and joint mobilization/manipulation, muscle energy and soft tissue techniques. We help restore your back, neck or other painful areas to as close to a pain-free condition as possible.
Opt is comprised of New York State licensed professionals with extensive knowledge and training in anatomy, physiology and the biomechanics of the body. We know how to help you stop your pain and help you return to action.

We take most insurances like 1199, Blue Cross/Shield, Ghi, United Healthcare, Cigna, Metroplus, Medicare and others. Please call the office to confirm.
We do not have hydrotherapy or do pelvic floor reeducation. We are associated with Steps N Strides, a pediatric office in the Flushing/Whitestone area specifically for pediatrics/sensory integration.
