Meet trainer Olivia Norkiewicz. Olivia brings the energy while teaching our morning FitCamp classes. If you haven't checked out one of her classes, you are missing out.
Olivia is an ISSA certified Personal Trainer and is both CPR/AED certified and a certified Autism Fitness Coach. She is all about fitness. Since 4th grade she knew that she wanted to change lives and discovered a passion as a personal trainer. When not at Outlaw FitCamp, Olivia works with IDD individuals at My Possibilities. When asked her approach to fitness, Olivia stated, "I want to help people understand that health and wellness is a lifestyle, not a diet".

Did 2020 derail your fitness plans?
Like many, last year was a wrecking ball leaving most of us trying to put the pieces back together. As a result much of what we had planned for last year took a back seat to what needed to get done.
If you are planning on putting your fitness goals back on the priority list know that You don't need to take the whole staircase, just focus one step at a time. Start by adding in little by little, maybe it's adding cardio into your routine or planning on a dedicated workout schedule all together.
Start with a plan, evaluate each week and see where you can improve. Did you make it to all of your dedicated training sessions/cardio goals? If not this week try and hit it 100% next week. Make it a self challenge to check that off the list.
Developing these habits take time, and your body will adjust week by week. It's small steps that lead to big results and consistency is the key towards your success.

It is 🍕 National Pizza Day 🍕and who doesn't like pizza? Here are some tips to reduce some of those carbs, calories, and make a healthier pie. To reduce carbs and calories, consider an alternative crust such as a cauliflower crust. Consider a pizza with less cheese, no cheese, or adding a dairy free cheese option. Daiya makes a fairly good dairy free, gluten free, soy free, mozzarella cheese. Reduce the sodium and saturated fat by ditching the pepperoni and sausage for healthier options such as mushrooms, green peppers, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, or red peppers. And remember, portion control is always important when watching the weight. Have 1 or 2 slices and put the rest away for another time. Bon appetit! 🥂
