Oxford Veterinary Hospital is pleased to introduce Dr Lindsey A. Reichwein as a new member of our staff.
Dr. Reichwein (pron. rike-wine) attended veterinary school at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, but her roots are deep in the Oxford area. Her great-great-great-great-grandfather, Samuel McIntire, settled in Oxford in the late 1700's after emigrating from Ireland. Most of Dr. Reichwein's immediate family still reside in Chester County today, including her parents, who live in Oxford. Dr. Reichwein has 3 dogs, 4 cats, and potbelly pig named Dandy. She studied Equine Science for her Undergraduate degree, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. Riding horses since she was 4 years old, she originally thought she would become an equine veterinarian, but found her passion was caring for cats and dogs. She is trained in fear-free handling techniques, and some of her favorite areas of interest are nutrition, preventative medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, cardiology, and oncology.
Dr. Reichwein is happy to return to Oxford, and looks forward to creating long-lasting relationships with the people and pets of this community as she joins Dr. Mease and Dr. Gaultney in our continued effort of providing the best diagnostics and treatments for our patients as well as exceptional service to our clients.
