New 5.0-star Review: "My experiences at the Pacific Audiology with Dr Mawson have been great. She and the staff are helpful, pleasant and always professional. This is my first experience with hearing aids and Dr Mawson is extremely knowledgeable in helping with the new and advanced technology. I would highly recommend Dr Mawson and the Pacific Audiology Clinic to anyone in need of audiology services."
New 5.0-star Review: "My husband and I both are patients at Pacific Audiology. As first time hearing aid users, they made the experience seamless. We had an idea of which hearing aids we wanted. Since the product was new to the market, it took a lot of back and forth on their part to make sure we had insurance coverage and to make them available quickly. Pacific Audiology kept us informed during the process and their follow up has been very thorough. Dr. Bradley is very experienced and knowledgeable. She is patient, answering all our questions and anticipates our needs. Everyone has gone the extra mile during this difficult pandemic period. We have had a very good experience."
New 5.0-star Review: "Great staff they truly care about their patients. They take the time to be sure you have the best quality of hearing."

New 5.0-star Review: "Dr. Bradley, is amazing to work with. Dr. Bradley, is very patient, kind and understanding to work with. She answers your questions and understands what the hearing impaired are going through with their everyday struggles in life. My first visit I explained to Dr. Bradley, what I needed and wanted in a hearing specialist for my needs and my frustrations with my hearing loss. To put it bluntly, I was full of anger and anxiety and doubt anyone could help me. I explained to Dr. Bradley straight out what I expected in a doctor and my anger and frustrations with my hearing problems at work and at home. I didn't want a doctor just selling me hearing aids. Dr. Bradley, has met my needs and has gone above and beyond in her care for my hearing loss disability. I know she will meet your expectations if you give her a try. I don't often post information about my experiences with social media, Dr. Bradley will give you the best care available."
New 5.0-star Review: "Allison and team are great. They solved a problem I had at a previous center and helped me through the process. Awesome."

The Doctor picked right up on this and guided me through a lot of new information and decisions, making sure along the way that i had a full understanding of them before moving on. Quick pace in fitting and programming. At the conclusion of the first appointment, i felt i left with detailed post visit contact information in case of a question or emergency.Definitely would recommend if you need audiology assistance!"

Recent studies have shown tinnitus may be caused by contracting COVID-19 and pre-existing tinnitus may be exacerbated. Additional support should be offered where tinnitus severity has increased due to the health, social, and/or emotional effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tinnitus may be more bothersome for those experiencing loneliness, having fewer social interactions, and who are more anxious or worried. New 5.0-star Review: "I had a fantastic experience! I knew my hearing would be bad and ended up having a small anxiety attack during the test. Audi was incredible and calm and explained what was up and gave me zero shame for freaking out and zero fake sympathy (which is worse). After my test, she explained my options thoroughly, made sure (actually made sure) I had no more questions, and was excited for me even though most of my work will be done through the OHSU clinic (cochlear implant). As someone who is experienced with audiologists and someone who can get anxiety around her ears, I can definitely recommend them."

After getting a COVID-19 vaccine, it's still important to take safety precautions, such as avoiding close contact with others and wearing a mask, to prevent the spread of the virus. After you get both doses of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, it takes about two weeks for your body to build up full protection. With the Janssen/Johnson & Johnson (COVID-19) vaccine, it takes up to four weeks to build up full protection. But even after vaccination you could become infected with the virus that causes COVID-19. Keep in mind that the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is 95% effective in preventing the COVID-19 virus with symptoms. The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is 94% effective in preventing the COVID-19 virus with symptoms. The Janssen/Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine is 66% effective at preventing the COVID-19 virus with symptoms. While your risk of getting the COVID-19 virus after being vaccinated is low, it is still possible. Because of these factors, even once you're vaccinated you could still pose a health risk to unvaccinated family and friends by visiting with them in person. Even after getting the COVID-19 vaccine, continue to follow safety precautions and consider avoiding in-person visits with friends and family until more is known about the immunity the vaccines provide. At Pacific Audiology Clinic, we will continue to follow CDC guidelines and Oregon State mandates for all appointments.
