Integrity is a concept of consistency of actions, values, methods, measures and principles. An important separation exists between integrity and morality. Morality lends to the thoughts of good versus evil or right versus wrong. Integrity is a workability of a system, relationships, and organizations. The integrity or workability is distinct from morality. The focus is on the workability not whether it is morally right, wrong, good or evil. The word integrity evolved from the Latin adjective integer, meaning whole or complete. In this context, integrity is the inner sense of "wholeness" deriving from qualities such as honesty and consistency of character. Integrity is a way to steer your ship, not the destination. Core Values explained: ❤ LOVE ❤ If you love what you do and who you are, the smiles just come naturally. In our very core, all PARC team members love what they do so that’s why everyone is always smiling. You can feel the energy when you walk through the door. We’ve had people here who don’t love what they do and just show up for a paycheck...and they don’t last long. This underlying feeling provides a framework to study more, face challenges and work as a team to get the best out of life. We love what we do and we do it with smiles 😊 #lovewhatyoudo #smile #rockvillechiropractor

Core Values Explained Continued: ✨ Humility ✨ “True humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less.” – C.S. Lewis Humility is characterized by low self-focus, secure sense of self and increased valuation of others. Gratitude is marked by a sense that one has benefited from the actions of another or a situation. Humility and gratitude mutually reinforce one another. Meaning, humility strengthens gratitude AND gratitude strengthens humility. Evolutionary theory suggests that humble people will be more helpful to the group because a trait that involves subsuming one’s own needs to those of others is only likely to be preserved in a species in which cooperation is necessary for survival. Researchers also framed humility as basically as the opposite of arrogance or narcissism. Service above self commits our PARC culture to a space of gratitude and humility.
Good news: We are back open today. As always, please be safe and give us a call if you need to get scheduled.

Osteoarthritis in the knee is a leading cause of disability in the united states. Osteoarthritis is where the protective tissue between your joints slowly wears down and gradually worsens with time. There is no cure for osteoarthritis but there are definitely ways to manage this debilitating pain. Many people try pain medications, cortisone injections, modifying activities as well as physical therapy. These alone may not be enough. Are you struggling with knee pain and tried all of the above and are now considering knee replacement? There may be another treatment option for you. It is called viscosupplimentation. This is a gel like substance that is injected directly into the knee. This acts as a lubricant to your joints and cushions where that protective tissue has worn away. Do you want to find out if you are a candidate for this treatment? You have nothing to lose. Just listen to Richard's testimony on his knee pain and treatment with us! Give us a call at 240-205-7710 or send us a direct message to learn more.

Brian Paris is at Pain Arthritis Relief Center. March 12 at 2:36 PM · Rockville, MD · I aim to bring beauty to every action and truth to every encounter. The years have shown me that integrating my personal and business lives result in beauty and truth. What are some of your core values that flow through your personal and business lives? 👇 #chiropractor #chiropractic #holistichealth
CORE Values Explained ✨EMPATHY✨ Empathy is the capacity to share or recognize emotions experienced by another. Some synonyms for empathy are affinity, appreciation, compassion, insight and rapport. The Native American proverb, ‘never criticize a man until you've walked a mile in his moccasins’ clearly describes empathy. Every client we encounter has their own situation or story. We are programmed to react and judge others. We must fight our instinct to judge and first put ourselves in their shoes. Understand and appreciate another’s situation prior to reaction. This provides the opportunity to exude empathy in a responsive versus reactive manner. #empathy #empathymatters #painmanagement #chiropractor #chiropractic

CORE Values Explained.. continued: 👉RESPONSIBILITY👈 In our culture, we aim to take 100% responsibility. This means always looking inside first and asking ourselves…”what is my role in this situation? or what lessons can I take from this scenario?” This is the opposite of blaming others and owning that everything in life happens through you, not to you. This approach is challenging as it opposes the common mindset. It takes diligence and consistency...and lots of failure. There’s winning or lessons. There are no losses when you approach life and business from this viewpoint.
This week we had our monthly team meeting where we completed a Lost at Sea exercise. We had a blast working together, growing and building up our team! 💙 🌟Here are a few of our teams takeaways: - Gut instincts are usually right on - Overthinking can have a negative impact - Even the independent and self-sufficient individual needs some help at times - Life experiences truly make people unique and can shape their thought process - Not everyone views things the same and it is important to respect & listen to others opinions #teamwork #teambuilding #teamdevelopment #teamgrowth #chiropractor #chiropractic

👇CORE Values Explained, Continued👇 👉HUSTLE 👈 “Speed Kills” “Dreams are free...the hustle is sold separately.” We live by these quotes...applied to life, sports and business they’ve proven true and effective. People think of ideas constantly...like sandcastles in the air, they’re just ideas until you spark the fire of energy into them. This is HUSTLE. We apply hustle to all of our actions as we know time is precious and these days it seems all of us have less and less. #hustle #dream #painrelief #chiropractor #chiropractic #holistichealth
