Dr. Samy Lasheen, is recognized as a key opinion leader in the field of pain management, is the Executive Director of Boro Park Pain Management. Board certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology, he completed his Residency in Anesthesiology and pain management fellowship at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital of Columbia University, New York. Dr. Lasheen is well-known for treating the most complex and challenging cases of chronic pain. Among the types of conditions he most frequently encounters are chronic pain syndrome, neuropathic pain syndrome, complex regional pain syndromes, post herpetic neuralgia, chest wall pain syndromes, back pain, neck pain, failed back surgery syndrome and cancer related pain syndromes. Dr. Lasheen offers the latest state-of-the-art therapeutic options, including minimally invasive spinal surgery, epidurals and nerve blocks, intradiscal procedures, radiofrequency or chemical neurolysis, cryoneurolysis, spinal cord or peripheral nerve stimulation, and implantable intrathecal infusion pumps for pain management.
