The surviving spouse of a Vietnam veteran came into our legal advice clinic at the Heart of Texas Veterans One Stop this summer. Her husband recently passed away and she was no longer able to access their bank accounts. Waco estate planning attorney Carlie Gause of Pakis, Giotes, Page & Burleson, P.C. took the case on a pro bono basis, probated the will, and had all the assets titled in her name. This gave her access to the bank accounts and peace of mind. We are grateful for dedicated volunteer lawyers like Carlie Gause, who go above and beyond for our veterans and their spouses!

Unfortunately, it appears that someone stole CSYAA's John Deere Gator at some point during the past couple of weeks. More specifically, we believe it was between December 27th and January 4th. Those of you familiar with the league know that the board relies on it heavily to keep the fields clean and maintained. Frankly, we will be hurting if it is not returned.
