Today marks the beginning of Women's History Month and to celebrate, we'd like to celebrate Selma Fuchs Mandinach.
Oscar may be credited with creating the business, but Selma Mandinach was a significant businesswoman in her own right, running the business alongside Oscar and keeping it going after he died and continuing to work with her son, Ted, and grandson, Gregg well into her eighties.

Today marks the beginning of Women's History Month and to celebrate, we'd like to celebrate Selma Fuchs Mandinach.
Oscar may be credited with creating the business, but Selma Mandinach was a significant businesswoman in her own right, running the business alongside Oscar and keeping it going after he died and continuing to work with her son, Ted, and grandson, Gregg well into her eighties.

We send our deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the attacks in Atlanta.
As business owners, it's scary to read this story, but it's more than that. These attacks deliberately targeted Asian women. It was anti-Asian racism. It was misogyny. And unfortunately it is not an isolated event.
We are here to say, we don't tolerate racism or misogyny and we'd like to take this time and use our platform to learn from and to uplift the work of Stop AAPI Hate.

This morning we released our latest national report, tracking anti-AAPI hate incidents during the pandemic. From March 2020 to February 2021, Stop AAPI Hate received a total of 3,795 hate incident reports from individuals in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Our data offer proof of the size and scope of the tragedy that is anti-Asian racism and xenophobia in the United States.
A few facts and figures:
👉🏻 Women reported hate incidents 2.3 times more often than men.
👉 Youths (0-17) reported 12.6 percent of total incidents and seniors (60+) reported 6.2 percent.
👉🏽 Although 42 percent of incidents were reported by Chinese individuals, Koreans (14.8 percent), Vietnamese (8.5 percent) and Filipinos (7.9 percent) are also targeted.

As a teenager, Chef B engaged in Culinary Arts programs in her Palm Springs High School, which included spearheading the first student-led teaching program for the Alternative Education School. Immediately after graduation, she moved to Austin, Texas to begin studying at Le Cordon Bleu and working with one of Austin’s top catering companies.
For 5 years, she worked and learned from the best on how to provide exemplary service and food for every client she works with. At 23, she moved to San Antonio to begin working with a locally owned café. She quickly rose to becoming the Head Chef and General Manager under the guidance of the owner, who she now calls her mentor and friend.
After nearly 10 years serving San Antonio, she decided it was time to put a personal stamp on the love she has for this city, and so, Enzo’s Culinary Events was born.
Outside of food, she enjoys spending time with her wife, Paige, and their rescue pitbull, Blake!
