Pan Africa Children Advocacy Watch (PACAW), Inc. is a non profit organization. Our mission is to develop a different generation of African leaders through the vehicle of ACCESS to a NEW EDUCATION CULTURE in the primary and secondary schools in Sub Sahara Africa. A type of education that focuses on turning the gaze of the children away from avarice, extortion, selfishness and obsession with accumulation of material wealth, and prepares them for leadership that embraces living for a higher purpose. We are focusing in particular on the education of the students in the under served and neglected communities in Sub-Sahara Africa. The programs and projects are community based and community driven, with strict monitoring and accountability by the Parent Teacher association, School officials and PACAW, Inc. Our goal is to develop African leaders who will champion the development of Africa by Africans. Thus, we also teach civics and leadership lessons.
The primary school we are currently supporting has no library. The school does not have enough teachers and there are not enough textbooks for the children, especially math and science books.Building a library in the school, staffing it, and providing equipments and books including e-books is one of our projects. We will also purchase textbooks and support teacher hiring and education to strengthen the science and math programs.
Your donation for our projects and programs which is tax deductible is greatly appreciated. Please visit our website for more information, including how you can support us.
