Congratulations to our Daisy and Violet Award winners!
Leah is an RN in PAT and has been with us since 2015. Her nominator recalled a moment not too long ago when Leah was counseling a patient who was nervous about the procedure he would soon undergo, so she sat and sang a hymnal to him, going far beyond the call of duty – something we have come to know is simply in Leah’s nature.
Jed, a Nurse Aide on the rehab unit, has been with us since 2009. He was nominated by one of his patients, which is always particularly special. The nomination reads, “Jed shows how much he loves people every day. He has done everything he can to make my stay here productive and he always shows pride in his work.”
Thank you both for your incredible dedication to your patients and their loved ones!
