We are so lucky that we were able to schedule 2 different family visits for your loved ones in December. It doesn’t go without a little work, but so worth it to see the smiles from everyone. Thank you to the staff that helped the process seem effortless.

Today was a very special day for both residents and staff at Parsons House.
It is the first day vaccines could be distributed to Assisted Living facilities in Nebraska. Today, the first round of Covid-19 vaccinations were administered to our residents, nurses, housekeeping, dietary, maintenance, and administration. As we reflect back on the difficult year we’ve had, we are excited for the days ahead and have much hope for 2021. The vaccine was administrated by Project Hug -- a name chosen with the anticipation of residents hugging their loved ones again.
Thank you for all of your support and understanding this past year. This vaccine is part of a historic milestone as we look forward to this new year.

Today was a special day at Parsons House On Eagle Run. Several of our residents helped Lund-Ross Constructors start the demolition of our activities room! Over the next six weeks, our residents will watch & participate in the transformation of this room into a stunning bistro! {see picture below}
In the coming days and weeks, we will further discuss our vision for the future which will include several exciting projects that will positively enrich the lives of our residents and their family members.

"The most leaves on a clover stem is an astonishing 56, discovered by Shigeo Obara of Hanamaki City, Iwate, Japan in 2009 🍀
Dr. Obara was the finder of the previous officially recognized record in this category, a clover with 18 leaves which he discovered in 2002.
Dr. Obara studied the white clover for many years, basing his doctoral degree around research into the plant. He had reportedly discovered a 33-leaf clover in the week prior to finding the new record holder.
'I was so surprised since there were much more leaves than I expected. It's more than a dream come true.'
Fellow scholar and President of the Japanese Grassland Science Society, Suguru Saiga, noted at the time he believes the plant was 'a result of gene accumulation of the most leaves for many years.'"
