Dedicated groups are a great way to make sure your employees have the support they need from people with shared identities or beliefs. Support groups take your #DiversityandInclusion strategy to the next level by putting that inclusion into action.
Don’t just make your plans behind closed doors. Share your #DiversityandInclusion plan with your employees and other stakeholders.
Your public commitment to improving these aspects of your company’s environment is important for letting others know where you stand, and for holding yourself accountable.
Creating a clear plan is your best chance of success with your #DiversityandInclusion strategy — or any strategy at your company, for that matter!
We suggest organizing your strategy into short-term and long-term objectives and goals, as breaking your plan into smaller tasks can help make it seem more achievable. It’s also easier to see success along the way.
Once you’ve started outlining your strategy, don’t forget to consider what funds may be necessary to get your plan rolling and maintained.
There’s no need to reinvent the wheel when developing your company’s #DiversityandInclusion strategy. Plenty of companies have publicized their successful efforts in this arena, and there’s a lot you can learn from them.
Of course, you’ll need to take whatever strategy you draw inspiration from and make it your own, with your company’s branding, values, and character. But you’ll get a good starting point by looking to others for inspiration.
Most companies now know how important it is to prioritize diversity and inclusion, but they may not know where to start. As with anything, you have to know what you’re working with before you can start making improvements. That’s why we recommend starting with an analysis of the data.
What’s the makeup of your current employee population? How do your employees feel about your company’s current environment in terms of diversity and inclusion? Take a look at all the data, including salary disparities, opportunities for advancement, and general feelings of satisfaction (or dissatisfaction) among your employees.
Start with the data, and go from there.
Meet Brad, a DevOps Engineer and Backend Developer, and all-around rad dad!
If you happen to run into Brad outside of work, you may find him enjoying the great Michigan outdoors, playing the banjo, woodworking, or hunting for new pizza and barbecue spots with his wife and six children. Or you may find him connecting with his community at a local church, where he leads the congregation as a pastor.
And at PartnerComm, Brad’s dedication to getting the job done the right way shines through in every project — he’s always willing to go above and beyond to help his teammates and clients exceed their goals.
Truly kind and a joy to work with, we're glad to feature Brad today!

Mental 🌟 health 🌟 matters! Consider these 3 ways to support employee mental health:
1. Encourage employees to reach out to your Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental health and emotional support.
2. If your telehealth provider offers mental health support options, encourage employees to take advantage of this benefit.
3. Promote other work/life resources like financial wellness programs or childcare benefits to support employees in all facets of their lives.

Adventurous. Friendly. Creative. Just three words (out of the many) we can use to describe our featured employee this week, Consuelo!
A consulting writer and University of Colorado Boulder graduate, Consuelo uses her love of writing and expertise to exceed our client’s expectations. When she’s not creating strategic communication solutions, you can find her outside — from hiking and kayaking to yoga at Red Rocks and themed 5k runs, she takes full advantage of her Colorado home.
We can’t forget to mention that Consuelo’s adventurous streak has taken her far — to six continents to be exact! Her goal is to make it to all seven, doing all the tourist activities along the way.
And when the Denver Broncos are playing, you are sure to find her cheering them on! She loves getting involved in Broncos events, including:
🧡 Crush (Broncos fan club for women) events
🏟️ Ladies night at the stadium
🏃♀️ Group workouts with Broncos trainers and/or players
🏈 Broncos women’s combine
Thoughtful and kind, Consuelo is a valued colleague, and we’re so happy to celebrate her today!
