It really is the simple things, the moments that bring a good life infused with joy and beauty. I had the pleasure to take time from my shop to visit @robindiraunsworth , a beautiful boutique of gorgeous goods to decorate your home and body. While I admired many items, I had a very small need. I needed new salt cellars.
I’d broken several several after dropping spice jars from an overcrowded cupboard into them. The spices have moved to a new location and the salt is now safe. I use both fine and Kosher salt in my cooking. These small bowls might serve many purposes,but in my home they will hold salt.
Here I have a pink salt from Utah and a coarse sea salt from the Mediterranean.
Every day I can see in these simple bowls creative inspiration from Robinira Unsworth: the majestic mesas and sublime salt flats of Utah, recall hiking the Trail of the Sea and Sky along the Cinque Terra of the coast of Italy, and feel grateful to be sharing #downtownpetaluma with such a lovely shop. 🙏🏻

I love shoes and... fresh, seasonal produce. I was so happy to get this seasons garlic for the first time this year. As last season’s garlic ages, it loses flavor and becomes soft. Fresh garlic is crunchy and bright! Tonight we are making enchiladas with the peppers, think something like a cross between chile rellenos and enchiladas. It will be delish and feature some of the snappy, spicy fresh seasonal garlic.
