We are highlighting our dedicated, professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate Program Director Byard Arkward.
Byard is the Director of Pathway Outpatient Services Program. He earned his accreditation from the state of Georgia through the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association in 2010 and was awarded the “New Counselor of the year Award” by the state in 2011. Byard served as the Lead Clinician for the Cobb County DUI Court Accountability Program from 2011-2013, and I was the Program Coordinator for Cobb & Douglas Counties Community Services Boards, Co-occurring Residential Program, and New Start Men’s Residential Program from 2013-2015.
In addition to being a certified addiction counselor, Byard has received a Professional Registered Nurse license in 1987 with a background in critical care nursing. He takes pride in providing opportunities to people for a healthier, improved, and sustainable lifestyle by addressing the whole person through the use of proven clinical therapies.
