We have just found out that a part time, “behind the scenes” staff member has tested positive for Covid 19. We have been in contact with the Health Department and staff testing is already underway. In an effort to protect both you and our staff, we will be shutting down to complete testing and deep cleaning.

Meals will be delivered to the Christian Center, Homeless shelter at St. Joe, YMCA, Senior Center, 18 Degrees, Boys & Girls Club, South Congregational Church, Hospice, St. Steven's, Price Memorial AME Zion Church, Unity Fellowship Church, Pittsfield Public Schools, Hillcrest Commons, The Elizabeth Freeman Center and the Department of Children and Families. ☘️A post of gratitude☘️ After reading a complaint email from an upset customer (slide 2), we felt compelled to speak some truths & to share our immense gratitude to this community.
First let us say, that mistakes will happen & it is ALWAYS the goal to remedy any mistakes as painlessly as possible. That being said, to our correspondent who asked “how far have we fallen during Covid” the answer is “to the bottom sir, just like nearly every small business in the country” We would like to commend all of these small businesses who have had to make 180 degree changes to their business model, work with a skeleton crew of staff, invest money into PPE, thermometers, construction of new walls & so much plexiglass. Some of us have not made it through the pandemic. Those of us still standing are hanging on by a thread trying to survive shutdowns, health scares, daily, weekly, monthly changes in rules and regulations.
We would also like to recognize the staff members who are working just as hard as prior to the pandemic, in the case of our tiny kitchen crew- even harder, for less pay & less hours. We have been blessed that our staff have stuck with us despite the incessant fear that comes with working in the public through this pandemic. We would never have made it this far if not for their dedication.
