Patriot Subaru Supports Friends of North Attleboro Animal Shelter
Subaru is officially sponsoring the first national litter clean-up and recycling initiative, encouraging people nationwide to help reduce landfill waste in their local communities, even in their own backyards. Tied to the Subaru Don't Feed the Landfills initiative, which is focused on reducing landfill waste in and around America's national parks, the environmentally focused event is aimed at keeping outdoor areas across the country free from landfill trash.
Now thru Sept 27, you are invited to join the movement by creating small teams and finding a nearby outdoor location to safely pick up, sort and recycle trash found. Hard-to-recycle items, including snack bags, disposable cups, lids and plastic straws, and coffee and creamer capsules can be brought to Patriot Subaru of North Attleboro, and we will fill up our Terracycle boxes for recycling. #Recycle

On behalf of all of us at FNAAS and the North Attleboro Animal Shelter, we want to express our immense gratitude for Patriot Subaru of North Attleboro and their support this month as part of the #SubaruLovesPets program. Especially where our traditional fundraising efforts have been curbed by the pandemic, partnering with such a generous, like-minded company truly means the world to us and the pets we aim to find homes for!
Throughout October 2020, Patriot Subaru of North Attleboro will donate $100 to FNAAS for each of the first 20 dogs or cats adopted from the shelter. If we surpass 20, Subaru of America will keep the momentum going with a $100 donation for each of the next 11 adoptions. Patriot Subaru North Attleboro delivered a healthy collection of canned goods/non-perishables, plus some clothing, blankets, and toys to the Community Care Alliance/ Woonsocket Shelter. With our collection partner, Missions That Matter, combined with donations from our store associates and customers, we did our best to raise supplies that were in great demand. On the delivery - Mark Perryman/Managing Partner, Matt D'Ambra General Sales Manager, and Sales Associates Corinne Fox, Marty Ross, Jay Brown, and Erica Miller. Big Day! Today marks this year's start of Subaru of America and all their retailers, partnering again with Feed America, to help provide meals to fight the effects of Covid-19. Last year, 50 million, this year - 100 million meals will be donated to local food banks and pantries. Each retailer, like Patriot Subaru, helps to make this possible. Patriot Subaru North Attleboro is proud to be able to provide a total of 175,877 meals that will go through the Greater Boston Food Bank.
