The Township of O’Hara Council is announcing its BOO to YOU!! program for Halloween trick or treating. This program offers recommendations to address COVID-19 concerns for those who have children that wish for them to trick or treat and those that wish to participate by distributing treats. Homes that are participating in the program will be asked to display the attached sign so that folks will know they are following the Township’s recommendations. The program details are available on our website, Facebook, Twitter and in a folder hanging outside the Township building. Signs will be able to be printed from our website, Facebook, Twitter or picked up in a folder hanging outside the Township Building. Those who do not wish to participate in trick or treating as always should turn off their porch lights. Trick or treating will be 6 PM- 8 PM on October 31st.
If Federal, State or County officials determine that trick or treating should not occur the Township will follow those guidelines. We will announce any changes to trick or treating or the BOO to YOU!! program.

I saw this idea somewhere, I hope whoever came up with it gets due credit. Great idea! Our neighbor is older and lives alone so I gave her 3 colour pieces of paper for her window which faces our kitchen window. Green is for I'm OK, yellow for need help with an errand, and red for emergency. I call it Isolation Communication 🙂 Let's all look out for each other people.

Eagle's Rock, County Leitrim
Eagles Rock is Ireland’s highest free-standing tower and its entire summit plateau is covered in a thick carpet of the most luxurious soft bouncy heather you can possibly imagine. This elusive summit gives mind-blowing views towards Slieve League in Co Donegal and over the summit plateau of Arroo to the north. The summit of Eagles Rock has only been stood on by 6 people with two known ascents of the tower in 1971 and 2012.
