The Fed cut interest rates for the third time this year, with the intention of mitigating the risk of an economic downturn by increasing consumer spending and economic expansion.
Like the previous cuts, this may cause fixed mortgage rates to go down slightly but will have the biggest impact on adjustable-rate mortgages. This will likely continue to be a great time to refinance loans, especially because the Fed hinted that they do not intend to announce another cut at their next meeting. #economy #Fed #ratecut #breaking
