HISTORY OF THE CHEVROLET EQUINOX
In the early part of this century, the crossover segment was just beginning. In 2004, Chevrolet introduced its first entry in this burgeoning segment, the Chevrolet Equinox.
The Equinox had its world debut at the 2004 Los Angeles Auto Show and went on sale in late summer 2005. This model was a departure from Chevrolet’s lineup of truck-based SUVs, but quickly gained in popularity as the years progressed.

With the Equinox, it gave families a choice when they were looking for something with stellar looks, practical handling, and low operating costs.

Can you name what year this GMC Acadia is?
Funny story, Volvo C70 was short and low but relatively wide. In order to ensure harmonious lines both with and without the roof, Volvo's designers decided to first draw the Volvo C70 as a coupe. Only after they were satisfied with the result did they make the necessary adjustments to create a convertible out of the finished design.
After putting it on the market Volvo started getting a ton of feedback from customers raving about the lack of "buffering noise" that was common in convertibles.
Before 1997 it wasn't really something that was talked about as important in a manufacturers design. Its been said that the C70 Volvo completely changed the "let-your-hair-down" era and started to focus more on sound comfort for the customer!

Last night's Virtual Hummer EV launch was crazy! Waking up this morning, it has the whole world talking, tweeting, and posting! We are receiving word that the GM pre-order site is having issues due to the volume.
While GM has dabbled with electric vehicles such as the Bolt EV, we can honestly say it has been tough to sit back and watch Tesla dominate the electric market for years, designing vehicles in terms of what they "like" and not the customer. After last night's launch of the Hummer EV, we now see why a big giant like GM has taken their sweet time. It's more than what we could have imagined!
What makes us even more proud to say is GM Collaborated with LG and broke ground in Ohio early May to confirm this will be MADE IN THE USA! 🇺🇸
