Dr. Weisssblatt completed his medical residency and became Chief Medical Resident, after receiving his undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA and graduating from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica.
Dr. Weissblatt has earned dozens of awards and published presentations through the American College of Gastroenterology, the North American Gastroenterology Fellows and the Medical Society State of New York. He was awarded a Certificate of Meritorious Achievement in Research, Superior Achievement in Clinical Documentation and was a member of the Medical Informatics Committee and The Council for Advanced Discharge Planning and Throughput while at Methodist.
He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American College of Physicians (ACP), the Alliance for Academy Internal Medicine (AAIM) and the Medical Society State of New York (MSSNY).
