Maximized the space by creating a linen closet behind the door (working around an unmovable gas meter), floating vanity with deep drawers, 30" wide soaking tub, and shower cubby, deep window sill and floating shelves for extra storage space.

We are back with our newest transformation! This small 1-Bedroom apartment on the Upper West Side is a perfect contemporary pied-à-terre with ample storage. The highlight is open floor plan and custom kitchen with seated island. The room facing side of the counter top wall was finished with reclaimed wood. I mirrored the floor tile pattern in the custom cladding for column hiding the drain pipe we could not move. This kitchen design maximized shelving/storage to utilize every inch of space. We did all new flooring, ceiling, wiring, our signature PTAC covers, custom hallway closets, and a classic subway tile white bathroom to give this Prewar apartment a full contemporary transformation!!

This kitchen feels much bigger after opening up the dining room and adding the breakfast nook/bar, as well as the custom furniture hutch matching the original kitchen to add more storage space, as well as a new countertop to expand the island’s sit-in area.
We had to redesign the entire central air system, which had us engineer this Primary Bedroom to have dropped soffit to cover the ducts, added our signature built-in radiator cover, soundproofed the wall, closet with air handler (closet organizer and wall around the handler to be installed later), new wood flooring by PID Floors and lightings.
This stunning bathroom came to life with ANN SACKS Blue Celeste honed tiles mix matched with hexagon mosaics and rectangle field tiles, creating a unified yet unique space.
