Monday is Martin Luther King day let’s keep his dream alive by getting out in our community helping one another. Tell the children stories about what you know of him and his time or encourage them to do something in the community food drive or collecting cans and donating to the less fortunate. This is a day of rememberance as well as celebrations. Feel free to post pictures if your children keep jobs dream alive.
Working with children is my dream come true. It’s not an easy job but it’s rewarding. Hearing and seeing them grow in mind and body is amazing. Today I want you to test your kids it’s Monday so the goal is to increase the he amount they can identify each day. I want you to post here the results. Challenge is prime vs composite numbers. Remind them prime number can only have two factors 1and itself composite numbers have more then 2 factors. For example 4 is composite because it has 1,2,and 4 where 3 is prime it only has 1 and 3. Let’s start with 3 a day and increase throughout the week. I want to see how much they have grown and know.

Merry Christmas and happy new year to all of you. I can’t tell you how relieved I am to be starting a new year. With new year comes new challenges and expectations.
