You all know Boatswain's Mate. The third of the Paws & Effect, llc Original Crew. He never missed a day. Complained when he had to stay home on cat days and greeted everyone at the shop. He was a Therapy Dog who helped a young man talk who hadn't talked in 3 years. He announced his presence whenever he entered a room. He was a show dog. He LOVED car rides. (after 3 weeks of throwing his guts up in the car getting used to it. Don't tell him he couldn't go!) He hung out with my dad on a boat ride. He was the GeorgeFest Dog Jog Master of Ceremonies. He was playful, courageous and wiley. He was the boss. He was an amazing soul. Boatswain (Bosun or Boats to his friends) passed yesterday at the cranky old age of 19 and then some. He is now running with his bestie Gunner's Mate. He is missed. There will never be another like you. Love you Old Man!
