Front Desk Associate - Peachtree City Urgent Care
Peachtree City, GA
Primary Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and visitors in waiting area in a friendly, prompt, and helpful manner.
• Check in patients and update necessary information in patients’ profiles.
• Promptly answer incoming phone calls.
• Responsible for daily collection of copays and other forms of payment.
Verifying insurance via web portals and phone calls to insurance companies
• Maintain and ensure cleanliness of patient waiting areas.
• Responsible for administrative duties including, but not limited to, managing petty cash and completing end of day (EOD) reports.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
Key Requirements:
• High school diploma preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
Ability to work weekday and/or weekend shifts as needed.
Ability to work 10 to 12-hour shifts
Ability to cover about 30 hours a week
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills, working knowledge of Codonix is a plus

Meet one our providers, Megan!
Megan is a nurse practitioner who has been a provider with Peachtree City Urgent Care since November of 2014!
Megan obtained her undergraduate degree as a registered nurse from Gordon College and her BSN from Medical College of Georgia. She graduated with her Masters Degree in Science of Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2013 from the Emergency Nurse Practitioner Program.
Megan also is an adjunct instructor for the Emory University School of Nursing Nurse Practitioner program. Megan lives within the Fayette County community that she so proudly serves with her husband and 2 children.

Meet our clinical manager Troy!
Troy has been an employee of Peachtree City Urgent Care since October of 2010. He was also part of the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne Division as an Army Medic where he worked in trauma for 6 years.
Troy obtained his EMT-A certification from Northwest Jr. College as well as his CMA license from Draughon’s College in Memphis Tennessee. He also spent two years working for the FDA in Hawaii.
Troy also served as our softball team captain and pitcher and led our team to several victories in 2013!!
