USD 497 School Meals Request

Below is a message regarding meal kits from the USD 497 staff daily newsletter I received last night. I am not part of food service this year and cannot answer your questions. But you can call food service at 785-832-5000 with questions! I will be there to help hand out today for the last time and look forward to seeing you! Remember, after today's distribution, WOODLAWN WILL NO LONGER BE A DISTRIBUTION SITE. :)
Today's weekly Wednesday meal kit distribution will include two weeks' worth of breakfasts and lunches since there is no meal kit distribution next week due to spring break. With the district's transition to full-time, in-person learning after spring break, our Food Service staff will begin serving more students daily in our schools. As a result, meal kit distribution will change.
All who want free meal kits for their children must sign up again at https://forms.gle/DWVBiACQ1zJGNkw46 for meals for remote learners and any children ages 1-18 not enrolled in our schools. Place the order by noon on Monday of the week you want to start picking up your meal kits. Choose to pick up your weekly meal kits at either Free State High from 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. or Lawrence High from 2:45 p.m.-3:45 p.m. Pick up your weekly meal kits each Wednesday starting on March 17 at the location and time you selected
on the order form. Use the same order form to make changes to or to cancel your weekly meal kit order.
