Are you a master pumpkin-carver? Participate in the City’s Pumpkin Carving Contest!
This fall, residents can virtually submit their jack-o'-lantern designs to the City of Wentzville’s Pumpkin Carving Contest. To participate, carve your best pumpkin and post a photo of it on Instagram using #WentzvillePumpkins. Submissions will be accepted until Oct. 25.
Submissions will be voted on by Wentzville residents using the City’s social media pages. First-, second- and third-place winners will receive a certificate naming them an expert pumpkin carver!

Hey everyone! Please note that we have received some calls about the water having a sulfur smell. We called the city and the city said they were flushing the hydrant lines and the smell is common. They wanted to assure us that there is NOT a boil order and the water is fine. If you are experiencing this smell, they advised us to let your COLD water run for a while, and the smell will come out. If there are any other updates, we will let you know on our FB as well as the portal.

Accumulating snow will fall across parts of the area on Saturday Afternoon and Evening. Snow will develop across northeast and central Missouri around midday, and spread eastward through the afternoon and early evening. Locations along and north of Interstate 70 have the greatest probability of measurable snowfall. There is potential for up to 3 inches of snowfall across northeast MO and west central IL with lesser amounts further south. Be alert for slippery road conditions.

The Mayor of Wentzville has declared a Snow Emergency in accordance with City Municipal Code 395.020. This Snow Emergency is in effect today, Feb. 14 beginning at 4 p.m. until Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 4 p.m.
During this time, it is unlawful for vehicles to park on a City public roadway. Vehicles in violation may be ticketed or towed. Residents are permitted to park in driveways while blocking the sidewalks during a Snow Emergency. Snow routes are pre-assigned and snowplow trucks will be through all neighborhoods as soon as possible.
To report City street snow concerns, please email snowconcern@wentzvillemo.gov. For additional winter storm reminders and updates, visit www.wentzvillemo.gov/winter. We encourage you to limit travel until streets have been plowed, and we thank you for your cooperation. Stay safe and warm!

The Easter EGGstravaganza is one month away! On Saturday, March 27, the day kicks off with the Bunny Run 5K, 10K and One Mile Fun Run! Enjoy your morning racing around Heartland Park with friends and family.
The Egg Hunt starts soon after our racers are finished for those who have reserved their egg field at Heartland Park. Egg fields and time slot reservations are limited, so reserve yours today!
And don’t forget the fun for your pup! Doggos will have a blast hunting for bones, treats and prizes at the Bone Hunt. Note: This event takes place at Rotary Park.
