Thank you to everyone in the Manassas Park community who helped us catch Viktor, our natural weed control. He had a fun dash down Manassas Drive this afternoon, but several Good Samaritans stopped and helped corral him.

Today, we sadly said goodbye to our hospital cat, George. He was a feral found on the streets in Morgantown, WV; and we knew our time with him was short. He had an aggressive cancer of his nose. But he lived a good life here for the last four months. We gently helped him cross the Rainbow Bridge tonight. Peace to you, Dear George.
Is this your little dog? He was found on Manassas Drive near the 7-11 this morning. Now he’s got a rap sheet—a nice police officer just gave him a ride to the Manassas City Animal Shelter.

Last year, our sister animal hospitals (Dale City, Gunston, and Clocktower) adopted a single mom and her son for Christmas, fulfilling their wish lists through the help of sweet Joyce Entremont, who tirelessly helps the homeless and underserved people in our county. We are going to help this mom and her son again, and another single mom and her FOUR CHILDREN, this year. We would love, love, love your help. I will post the second family in another post.

In regard to the winter weather forecast for later this week. At this time we have not determined whether our hours of operation will be impacted.
