A new CDC MMWR shows that an estimated 41% of U.S. adults reported avoiding medical care because of concerns about COVID-19, including 12% who avoided urgent or emergency care, and 32% who avoided routine care. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, seek medical care without delay if you have a medical emergency. Protect yourself and others from COVID-19. Wear a mask, maintain physical distancing of at least 6 feet, and wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds or more. bit.ly/MMWR91020.
