I am a fun Realtor with a great sense of humor and good at working with both buyers and sellers. Communication is key to me and I keep in touch frequently with those with whom I am working. I work By Referral Only, which doesn't mean that you have to be referred to me for me to work with you, but it does mean that you will be so happy with my service that you will gladly refer me to your family, friends, co-workers and others whom you care about for the same great platinum level service. I explain things well and will keep you informed all along the way and beyond closing. I also make myself available to my clients. I am a member of the Rock-Green Realtors Association, Wisconsin Realtors Association, National Association of Realtors and Multiple Listing Service. In my former career I was a French teacher at Craig High School for many years. When I retired, I segued immediately into real estate as another career in which I could serve people, but in a different way. I realize the importance of education for myself so that I can be the best possible realtor for my clients. I quickly earned 4 prestigious certifications so that I could be a powerful realtor, knowledgeable about the market and thoroughly understand the buying and selling process. I earned the Accredited Buyer Representative, which allows me to work FOR my buyers. I also earned the Graduate Realtor Institute, the Certified Residential Specialist (This certification is held by only 4% of all the realtors in the U.S., due to the rigor of education and the high performance standards.). I also am an E-Pro, signifying that I am adept at email and have other tech capabilities. I serve my community by being active in many organizations. I am active in my Church, St. Mary Catholic Church. I am a lunch buddy at Kennedy Elementary School. I volunteer at Hospice Care, Inc. with the "Tuck In Program" and I am also on the events committee. For the United Way of North Rock County, I serve as chair of the C21 office campaign. I am an ambassador for Forward Janesville, working with new and existing businesses to serve their needs and help them grow. In the spring I am a kindergarten Junior Achievement leader, teaching the young students about "self". It is very gratifying for me to help others. I like to read and travel (especially to Hawaii, where my Aunt and her daughter and her daughter live). Traveling to France is also a passion of mine, since I speak French and love all things French. I also love to dance, sing and be with friends, whether for a soda, a glass of wine, a movie or dinner or just chat. My family is also extremely important to me. My Dad lives in Reedsburg; my brother in Baraboo, and I have 2 great sons. One of them lives in Janesville and the other in S. Dakota. I am proud of them both. Give me a call.
