We wear masks and face shields and you will be the only one in the room with one provider during the screening. URGENT: If you care about seniors accessing specialists in health care and those on Medicaid please read and act! (And one day you will be on Medicare so we all should voice our concerns to Medicare!) If not, services will be cut and less providers will be able to take Medicare patients. This will make it hard to access services as providers will either not take Medicare or limit how many Medicare clients they can take. Medicare currently says not enough people are calling or writing in to change the course so the cuts will happen unless they hear more from people. This is a not a Republican or Democrat issue... this is everyone. We all need to speak up.
The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is proposing to reduce specialist pay by 6 to 9% or more for 2021. This includes specialties such as cardiovascular specialists, chiropractors, physical therapists, neurologist, etc. Please contact CMS to voice your concern about this rule change, (and to physical therapists specifically) at 1 (800) 633-4227 or for written comments. Use the link below to submit your comments! This needs to be done ASAP!
This will affect the ability of seniors & those on Medicaid to access care. If you are not a senior you will be one day and this will affect you in one way or another. Please reach out to Medicare.
