Diesel had the best time while Michelle was doing an oral exam to assess the condition of his teeth prior to his dental this week!
Happy Friday PHAH-Mily! As you know, it takes a village especially as we navigate these new “normals”. We are so fortunate to have the best group in the business to care for one another as well as all of our clients and their fur babies. For the month of October, we want to acknowledge one special person who has led the charge with us through the ever changing world of veterinary medicine. Our employee of the month is 🥁🥁🥁🥁Amanda!!!!
Happiest of (slightly belated) birthdays to Phoebe! Phoebe (PP for short) is owned my Michelle (our Technician Supervisor) and celebrated her second birthday with a puppacino yesterday. Everyone who has met her loves her and she hasn’t met a person yet that she won’t dive belly up for! 🐶
Are you looking to join a COOL team?! (Ok to be honest, Marge, our hospital cat, is way cooler) PHAH is looking to add Client Care Representatives and skilled Veterinary Technicians to our team. If you are interested or know someone who is, check out the employment section of our website for how to apply!

Happy Caturday! Everyone, meet Buffy! Buffy came in to see Dr. Breidenbaugh for her annual wellness exam and vaccinations. To help minimize any stress related to the vet visit, Abby, one of our technicians, brought Buffy to a quiet room with a stress reducing pheromone (Feliway), and a fear free handling technique! We take pride in minimizing stress for all of our patients! 🥰 What stress reducing technique do you like that we use on your babies?
Good Morning! We are currently having technical difficulties with our phone lines- if you are a client needing to reach us, please email info@perryhallanimal.com OR text 667-206-5678; both of these methods are being constantly monitored so you will get a prompt response. We are working to get the phones back up as soon as possible and we apologize for the inconvenience!
Happy Saturday! We want to know, who do you think has better lashes?! Our vet tech Justine, or sweet Annie? They both have serious #lashgoals 😹
Happy Wednesday PHAH fans! We are halfway through National Vet Tech Week and our techs are certainly feeling the love. Their jobs are so more than just cute puppies and kittens (even though they bring so much happiness to our days), our techs are the pulse of our hospital.
We, as an entire practice, have had our share of obstacles over the last few months figuring out how to remain practicing the gold standard care to our clients and patients.
Their care and compassion towards your pets have not wavered in the least, and if anything all our furry patients get extra pets and treats to help make them more comfortable since we are still operating a curbside protocol.
So to answer a question asked in our post earlier this week...”Do we get attached to our patients?” We think the answer is pretty clear!
Happy National Vet Tech week! We may be partial but our technicians are some of the best out there. We’ll be highlighting them throughout the week so here is just a brief glimpse into what their responsibilities are (these all usually happen in the same day)!
Ever wanted to ask our techs a question about their job? Here’s your chance. Drop them below and they’ll be answering this week!

This little cutie named Maui was in for his first puppy appointment and exam with Dr. Baer last week. You can see he received his distemper booster and an oral dewormer with minimal handling, and while being distracted by eating yummy cheese. We strive to make every appointment as minimally stressful for your pets, and positive, fear free puppy appointments are the foundation of this beautiful relationship. 🐾

Look at this low stress, force free handling! This pup was fearful of people, but once I offered some cheese, I was able to vaccinate without restraint. Vet tech friends, don’t be afraid to advocate for our patients, we can do better! Animal parents, ask about handling at your vet! See something that makes you uncomfortable? Speak up!
“Yeah they leave medically better, but behaviorally they’re worse”. - Dr. Sophia Yin
Stop pushing stressful and fearful patients “to get it done”. We can reduce stress in so many ways... some of which includes chemical restraint! Let’s be better ☺️♥️
"What breed am I?"
-Ryder, age 10 weeks!
Honey and Rosie were both in today for exams with Dr. Baer, along with their distemper and rabies vaccines! Both of these cute girls are about 15-16 weeks of age (but very different sizes 😆), and they enjoyed eating cheese with minimal restraint for their vaccines!
PHAMILY.... we need your help! Let’s celebrate Michelle’s six year journey with us!
