Each month, a group of schools have the opportunity to nominate one outstanding student for recognition as the Superintendent's Student of the Month. In the past, we invited these students and their parents to a School Board meeting for recognition. This year, due to the pandemic, the Superintendent is visiting these students at their schools to make the presentations. The Perry & Young team mourn the loss of our dear friend, Irving Roth. A Holocaust survivor, internationally known educator, public speaker, and established author, Irving lived out his testimony by teaching students and adults of the Holocaust through the International March of the Living and other organizations around the globe. Additionally, he starred in the the Fall 2020 documentary titled, “Never Again”, which shed light on the events of the Holocaust. Irving was committed to serving others. It was an honor to know him. In the past, we invited these students and their parents to a School Board meeting for recognition. This year, due to the pandemic, the Superintendent is visiting these students at their schools to make the presentations.
