PHOTO SPOTLIGHT: A Different Perspective
Although the Battle of the Little Bighorn (Custer’s Last Stand) is generally remembered because of the extensive loss of life among the 7th Cavalry, the location is also full of natural beauty. Dr. Walter Hunt was in Montana several years ago and took this photo of the site of battle. When he got back to his home in Minnesota, he decided to digitally alter the photo to resemble an oil painting. The result? A beautiful vista full of golds, reds, yellows and oranges. Enjoy!
"Ay-y-y-y!” Dr. Andrew Heinisch has always been cool…just take a look at him dressed up as the Fonzie from Happy Days. He was around five years old, the photo is a bit blurry, but it still makes you smile.

Checking In - A Different Perspective & Use It or Lose It - https://mailchi.mp/33939dc9abf0/pcd-checking-in-october-6-1397971
Snow is on the ground, the skies are overcast, and life is not nearly normal because of the pandemic. With all that in mind, we thought we would provide a “day brightener” today with this lovely photo from Dr. Walter Hunt. Here’s what Dr. Hunt had to say about this photo that he took:
“What do you see in this photo painting? A Mallard Duck of course! But look closer. See the pink reflection of a flowering crab tree on the left, see the golden reflection of aspen trees on the right, see the blue reflection of the sky interspersed throughout, see the fallen leaves floating on the water’s surface above and most importantly see yourself connected to all of this!”

Krista, our Hygiene Assistant Team Leader, and her husband Andy welcomed an adorable new member into their family recently - daughter Clara, who is now almost three weeks old. PHOTO SPOTLIGHT: Whale Oil
Dr. Walter Hunt captured this image of a leaping whale off the coast of Maui, where he’s spending a couple weeks soaking up the warm weather and taking lots of photos. He had some fun with this photo of a humpback whale when he did some editing to the image and created an oil painting version of the image. Enjoy!
