Pestco has had the honor of servicing the Wilmington area for over 40 years, and as a result we have had the pleasure to listen to an abundance of stories from those who have served. It has always left a mark on our hearts when one of our customers passes especially when he or she had served in our nation's military.
In honor of Memorial Day, our office will be closed and will resume normal business hours on Tuesday.
Happy Easter on behalf of everyone at Pestco!
Our office is closed in honor of Good Friday! We will return to regular business hours on Monday.

It has been a year since Covid-19 made its presence. First, we would like to thank our customers for continuing to utilize our services especially during these uncertain times. Without you putting your trust in our company, we would not have been able to keep our doors open like we did.
Secondly, we wanted to assure you that we have not ceased our earlier efforts at combating Covid-19. Our technicians are required to wear masks and gloves at every property, and are to change those items frequently. Hand sanitizer has been made readily available for continuous use, and the technicians are encouraged to wash their hands as frequently as possible. Temperatures are checked regularly, and no one is allowed to come to work if feeling ill. In fact, if anyone is feeling unwell then that person is required to take a Covid test and provide the results as soon as possible.
Your health and our employee's health are the top of our concerns, and we strive on a daily basis to maintain that.
Thank you for continuing to trust Pestco for your exterminating needs!
Due to inclement weather this afternoon, Pestco will be closing at 3:00 P.M. today (March 18, 2021). We will resume regular business hours tomorrow.
Most often called the waterbug, the American Cockroach is the most common cockroach found throughout the U.S. and the world! Commonly, American Cockroaches are found outdoors, but when the food is limited or there has been a change in the environment, it will find its way into your home or business. There are two key ways to preventing the American Cockroach from entering your home: cleanliness and a continuous barrier. Be sure to keep counters, sinks and floors cleaned of any food sources including crumbs. When it comes to a continuous barrier, make sure there are not any gaps or cracks around your home that could make it easily accessible for a cockroach to enter. We recommend sealing any openings to prevent this from occurring.
If you suspect you may have a few American Cockroaches living in your home, please contact our office at (910) 791-5432 to have pest control professional stop by to perform a thorough inspection and to go over treatment plans.
The notorious German cockroach! Commonly found in kitchens and bathrooms, but also can be found in other places in which individuals eat. Most of the time individuals will spot a cockroach and immediately think of a German Roach, but the best ways to identify a German cockroach are by its light brown to tan color, and two distinct dark parallel lines on their backs. Check out the earlier post on how to identify an American Cockroach (another common insect found in homes). It is imperative for the service technician to identify the correct type of cockroach found inside your home before treatment.
If you suspect you might have spotted a few German Cockroaches invading your home, please call our office at (910) 791-5432 to schedule a representative to perform a thorough inspection of your home and/or to perform necessary treatments.
Wow! Check out these outstanding reviews about a few of our hard-working technicians! Congratulations Brett, Ryan, Jonathan, Rae, and David A. on such outstanding work!
