Our techs are feeling the love from our clients! Thank you to the Mullins clan and the Gaston clan!!!
Took some time off during lunch to eat some 🌮 tacos and play this hilarious game. Highly recommended to all our veterinary friends. The staff had a blast to finish off tech week!!!
We are not done highlighting our superstars! Robin is our lead surgery tech. She is responsible for assisting the doctors with all anesthetic procedures as well as performing dental cleanings. Basically, she is an anesthesiology nurse, dental hygienist and many other things combined into one awesome package! Robin is originally from Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!) She has been working in the vet field for 10 years, with experiences at specialty hospitals, emergency hospitals and general practices. In the vet world she really enjoys anesthesia, and she is also our very own in house cat lady! Currently she has 4 cats! She also has 2 very sweet dogs and one crazy ferret! Outside of work, Robin is married and enjoys the great outdoors, which includes hunting and fishing with her dad! We are very lucky to have such a smart and caring person like Robin be part of our staff. Thank you for all that you do!
PMCK Vet Techs are AWESOME! 😎 Day 4 of making a BIG deal out of it! We thank each one of our techs for all their hard work and dedication! We couldn’t do what we do without them! 👏🏼 #nationalvettechweek #vettechsrock #vettechsofinstagram
Our next rockstar is none other than our lead tech Ashlee! Ashlee joined PMCK in April 2016. Ashlee grew up in the Richmond/Rosenberg area, where she currently resides with her husband. In March 2016, she moved back home from San Marcos, Tx after working at another Veterinary Clinic and being employed there for 8 yrs. It was a hard decision to leave San Marcos but she made the move for family and to come work at PMCK! Ashlee has over 18 years of experience in the veterinary field, where she has been a veterinary technician for 12 years. She has always loved animals from an early age. Horses have always been her favorite, until she got chickens! She has many animals at home, including 3 dogs; Chippy, Chaca Monster, and Jilly who are all rescues. She also has a ton of birds 🐦! 30 chickens, 2 turkeys and a peacock. Ashlee spends her free time helping others outdoors. She enjoys saltwater fishing and anything outside especially riding one of the family horses, Tango. 🐴 Thank you Ashlee for all of your hard work, we love you and our patients/clients do too!

For any emergencies, Blue Pearl Katy, Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Pet Care of Texas are a few of the hospitals open tomorrow. We will be back Friday open for regular hours. We love you all, Happy Thanksgiving!!
Today we had a potluck style thanksgiving lunch! We are most thankful for such an amazing team, a family really! We are also very thankful for our wonderful patients and clients! May you all have a blessed and wonderful day with family and friends. Stay safe, Happy Thanksgiving 🦃!!
Pet Medical Center of Katy November 20, 2017 at 2:23 PM · The table may be set, but remember don't share the Thanksgiving feast with Fido! Turkey skin and bones, onion and garlic, grapes, chocolate and corn on the cob slipped to the family dog under the Thanksgiving dinner table can cause serious harm. Dogs should also be kept from eating gravy, raw dough and raisins. For more information on keeping your dog and cat safe this Thanksgiving holiday, please visit the link below: www.avma.org/public/PetCare/Pages/thanksgiving-pet-safety.aspx
Thanksgiving is a time we indulge in bountiful meals with our family, but please be cautious of what can be harmful to our four-legged family members. Keep them safe this Thanksgiving!

Congratulations 🎉 to Lucky, the Pet Medical Center of Katy 2020 Pet of the Year! Lucky will have a donation made his name to Citizens for Animal Protection, chosen by his pet parents. PMCK will proudly display Lucky’s Pet of the Year plaque in the clinic. Give a shout out to Lucky!🐾🎈🐾🎈🥳 Lucky’s luck and how he spends his days, shared by his pet parents: Lucky is a Blue Heeler that was found as a wee little puppy abandoned and malnourished. I took him in and gave him a new life surrounded by constant affection and adoration. He spends most of the day running around the house chasing and taunting his brother (a small chihuahua) over toys or wreaking havoc. He’s a big people dog, and will run up to greet anyone and everyone. He acts like he hates cuddles, but gets super jealous whenever other dogs receive cuddles and affection. He can be pretty vocal, especially at night before bedtime when he’s asking to sleep on the bed with me or when he has to go potty in the morning. His nickname at home is Wiggle Butt because he has a stump for a tail, and when he gets excited his whole butt will shake 😂
