Farmer Tillie’s Dog Treats
Nomad found a good hiding spot at Kitty City yesterday so he missed his groom but they brought him in today. I'm not sure what he was worried about because he seemed to love the attention. We decided to donate this groom to help do our part for this great rescue and sanctuary.
Yesterday and today we had the honor of Grooming some special needs cats from Kitty City. Bartholomew captured my ❤. He was very affectionate while on the table despite his twisted front arms. Thank you for trusting us to help make them more comfortable. All of these cats suffer from an autoimmune disorder known as FIV which requires special sanitation between animals, many of them also had other physical limitations that may limit them in 1 way or another. We are greatful to Kitty City for providing them a loving home.
Even though most of the Grooming continuing education seminars were canceled we are dedicated to continuing to learn. This year we are bringing the educators to us! I've hired one of the best groomers in the country to come lead a private lesson in October. The Pet Place staff are excited to continue learning the best practices and techniques to care for your beloved pets.

We're thrilled with how our fence project is coming along and the new concrete looks great to.
We are so proud of our newest hire Taylor. She really loves every dog she works on as if it was her own. She fits into Pet Place as if she's always been here with her go getter attitude and willingness to help and drive to learn more.
I've got to give a huge shout out to Teah. She really stepped out of her comfort zone with this creative groom. She adapted when she ran out of black and did the orange head. She tried coat carving for the first time and nailed it. Trevor's people loved it and Teah had fun. The salon was filled with giggles which is my absolute favorite.
We may have had to postpone our seminar but we still used the day as a learning experience and played around with creative Grooming and a bit of Bichon breed standards, asian fusion among other things. Thanks again to Renae from The Lap of Luxury Mobile Grooming Salon and Katie from Pampered Paws for joining us.

Next we have two more quilts that were donated by Pet Place Grooming. These are smaller rag quilts that you would look great cuddling on the couch under.
We have two of these so we will be filling up two boards each with 30 slots. Each slot is $10. If you are purchasing multiple squares for these let us know if you want them on the same quilt or on different ones.

This quilt is absolutely beautiful and a nice warm quilt perfect for a cool winter night. This quilt was handcrafted so any one who does this type of work knows how much time and effort was put into it.

As we move into colder weather we'd like to remind you that regular Grooming is still beneficial to your pet.
- Nails still need to be clipped
- Ears still need to be cleaned
- Short haired dogs still benefit from regular baths and brushing to allow their skin to breath.
- Long haired dogs don't need to be shaved we can just trim them up or do full haircuts in longer lengths.
We'll keep your pets looking and feeling great all year long.

Miss Sophie is an older gal that has a hard time standing to groom. We have no problem accommodating our special needs clients. She's such a happy girl. Don't let their age fool you they like to look pretty like the young pups to.
It's black Friday and we are closed to spend time with our 2 and 4 legged families. I walked into my 2yr old daughters bedroom to find this and laughed so hard. The is my very tolerant bulldog mix, Kimber.

We finished another holiday season. I'm constantly in awe of my amazing staff. We were booked solid the last 2 weeks and they busted their butts to squeeze in as many of your lovely pets as they could for the holidays. Thank you all for your generosity this Christmas season. We greatly appreciate all your cards, well wishes and gifts. We'll be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Years day to spend time with our loved ones. Merry Christmas

Spring is in the air folks. It's time for our annual THE SKUNKS ARE OUT! warning. My Akbash Buddy just got a good skunk bath after being sprayed. He was being a very good boy and guarding our chickens from the skunks. If your dog is skunked DO NOT GET THEM WET OR TRY TO BATH BEFORE BRINGING THEM IN. Water will activate and set the enzymes in the skunk spray. Fear not we can have them smelling much better in a couple hours.
