Dr. Peyman Azadani is a faculty member of the David Geffen School of Medicine as a Clinical Instructor of Cardiovascular Medicine at UCLA.
He received his medical degree from Shahid Beheshti Medical University in Iran. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Penn State University and his fellowship in Cardiology at University of Utah. He then pursued additional training in advanced cardiovascular imaging at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He also did a research fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Azadani is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology Medicine. He also has level III training in cardiac MRI, adult cardiac Echocardiography, and coronary CT Angiography.
Dr. Azadani has a wide clinical practice but has particular interests in prevention of cardiovascular disease, management of coronary artery disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and new modalities in the treatment and diagnosis of cardiovascular disease.
