Today we celebrate our one year anniversary!! We are working on gathering photos of the history of the building as well as the transformation to what it has become today. We want to thank everyone that helped make this possible, our customers who help keep us going, and the support from our friends and families. This is a dream come true and we could not have done it without all of you!
Just a quick update to our customers. We continue to remain open, Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 5:00. If you need to drop off or pick up outside of our normal business hours, please give us a call to make arrangements. Our waiting room is now open, but limited to no more than 3 waiting customers at a time to continue social distancing. Please call to schedule so that we can stagger any appointments that may require waiting. We are continuing to disinfect door handles, steering wheels, and shifters. We are also wiping down door handles and surface areas in our office. Thank you to all of our customers that have continued to support us throughout this difficult time. We really appreciate your business. We do state inspections and emissions, diagnostics, exhaust work, brakes, air conditioning service and repair, steering and suspension service and repair, and all basic maintenance. Give us a call to schedule today! 724-266-7800
We will be closed Monday May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. We offer our sincerest gratitude to all of our military veterans that made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms here and abroad!

Because we were deemed an essential business we are still plugging away at fixing cars here at Philip's Automotive. Wanted to share one of today's jobs. It's a 1992 Ford Mustang Convertible that has a wiring issue with both the turn signals, and the convertible top. Fun, fun, fun!!
So some friendly automotive advice for this weather we are having and your bad weather commute. 1) Full tank of gas - reason is traction, but also if you get stuck you can keep your car hopefully running and yourself warm. 2) Washer fluid - so you can see - if it does not work or spray a few suggestions - add rubbing alcohol, put car in a heated garage or building if available. Keep an extra bottle in your trunk to unfreeze your wiper blades if needed and top off. Also extra weight can help traction on a rear wheel drive car. 3) Antifreeze / Coolant - make sure it is full, mixed properly, and working correctly - super fast to test and check at any automotive shop. 4) Tires - so much here, do they have tread, are the filled with air, are they regular tires or snow tires, etc. 5) Spare Tire - check it and make sure it has air, this is not a good time of the year to have a flat spare. 6) Wiper Blades - make sure they wipe good, also do not turn them on if frozen to your car until unfrozen or clear of debris (ice and snow) as that will prevent damage.
We at Philip’s Automotive would like to wish all a Merry Christmas and the happiest of New Years! Thanks to all that have made it special!
