Be part of our Inaugural Strides Ride of Phoenix!
For the safety of our staff and our participants, we have made the decision to suspend the TRADITIONAL Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk of Phoenix this year. So, we've come up with a fun, socially distanced event instead, the Strides Ride of Phoenix! Join us for a drive through event with a route through the greater Phoenix area. It will include stops at various locations TBD. Pink out your car, pile in your peeps, and join us for a little road trip to make strides against breast cancer. Check back often for more details as we work them out. Sign up today at MakingStridesWalk.org/PhoenixAZ.

Today is National Trigeminal Neuralgia Day. What is Trigeminal Neuralgia? Trigeminal Neuralgia is pain associated with your trigeminal nerve, which you may feel in your lips, eyes, nose, scalp, forehead, upper jaw and/or lower jaw. Everyone’s symptoms are different: you may experience extreme, sporadic, sudden burning or shock-like pain in the face that lasts a few seconds or minutes. For some people, the pain is constant aching, throbbing and/or stabbing. The CyberKnife is a fantastic option for patients suffering from this debilitating disease. Check out the link below to see how Phoenix CyberKnife can be an option for this disease with only one treatment! There is hope!

Researchers discover treatment that helps suppress liver cancer. https://medicalxpress.com/news/2020-12-treatment-suppresses-liver-cancer.html
Cyberknife is a great option for liver cancer as the liver is located in the abdominal cavity, and is consequently in motion being near the lungs and bowels. Using radiation therapy to treat liver tumors that can move up to two inches with every breath requires a system capable of tracking the tumor even while in motion. Read more on the link below.
