Picasso's Courtyard, is in the former Al Fresco location, at 708 Washington Ave. The owners are the same; but the name has been changed, and Felix Picasso has come to Mississippi by way of Peru as head chef. Your party has the option of sitting inside with air conditioning or outside, al fresco, in the courtyard, which is shaded and offers heaters in the cooler weather and fans for the warmer...make sure to admire our flaming fountain.
You'll start the meal with our signature bread which is actually grilled pita slices drizzled with olive oil and topped with shredded Parmesan. The menu has a variety of contemporary Italian offering such as... Pollo Francese which is one of the more popular items, along with Vitello Milanese (veal Parmagiana), the fresh fish of the day, Linguini Scampi and Linguini A'lla Vongole (clams in a garlic, butter and wine sauce). There are plenty of salads, paninis, appetizers and pizzas on the menu, too.
Picasso is planning to introduce a family-style menu this summer, including salad, pastas, entrees, vegetables and desserts, designed for a minimum of four people.
