I watch as he repairs boats. Very very very strenuous work, just about have to be a contortionist to do some of these jobs. Literally one person cannot be be at engine & at the controls. Up & down, up & down, back & forth.
Customers bring in boats who have not run them in years.. mechanically we run into more problems over and above what the initial problem was supposed to be, causing the whole schedule to back up , a 2 hr job to be several more hours.
To save money people try to fix themselves or let someone else that’s a ‘good buddy’ who says he knows how to repair it ... before bringing in and just cause more havoc with internal damage.
Customers buy boats from individuals who dont want to repair but say the boat runs great.
PSA.... don’t try and repair your boat & engine if you’re not a mechanic.🙏🐟🛶🛥 🙂
