We are sad to announce that Marmaduke, the beloved orange tabby cat who resided on the front porch of the Pine Crest Inn, has passed away.
The 12+ year old feline was a fixture on the Inn's front porch since 2008 and welcomed thousands of guests from around the world. He was preceded by his forerunners Marmalade I and II who also held the prestigious position of Pine Crest Inn official mascot and keeper of the porch.
Marmaduke had many friends including hotel guests, local patrons, employees and even local wildlife with whom he shared his food. He was just a very good guy and will be sorely missed.
Pine Crest Inn is closed through January 21 for our annual winter break. See you soon!
