Hi everyone. Unfortunately our air quality has gone downhill. We will need to cancel our lessons as we are about 170 in the area of the ranch. Sorry. Michelle will be trying to contact people. The forecast says this will continue to be bad tomorrow, so we may be just hand walking horses.

Any student who has been leasing for 6 months or more will receive an automatic 12 to 15 percent discount on price and students who have taken lessons for 6 months or.more get a 10 percent reduction.

I was just telling a client about kissing spine. This is why we follow a strict rule to never put a rider on a horse if the rider (including gear) will weigh more than 20% of the horse's weight. We also don't ride horses under 3 years of age. Please take a moment to watch this to understand more.

I would like to say what a lovely barn we have due to all of our generous members, both staff and assistants. Almost 11 months ago little Jinx came to us thin and in need of care and training. Now she is so pretty and lovely to ride and this is due to lots of work and financial support. Thank you to all who have helped and made it possible.

Lilly entered her first ever 2ft6in jumper class with Chivette and they did great. Here is the jump off where they took 3rd in a large class. So proud of them and all of our show geoup.
Here is Corbin and Habie winning the jumper crossrails. They were great, and Corbin's brother Max won both of his hunter classes at 2ft and 2ft 3im. Great job Max and Brittany. Those were very big classes.

Rain has quite the talent.
And things we learn when dealing with our horse teach us things we use all our lives. How to communicate well, how to be firm but diplomatic, and how to get back up when we fall down. Horses teach us that mistakes are just an opportunity to learn, not something to be ashamed of or afraid of.

'Horsemanship Can’t Be Allowed to Die Out': An Argument for The Barn Rat
We would to introduce Rey to all of you. Rey is a sweet tempered Dutch warmblood gelding who is a third level + Dressage horse who also knows how to jump. His owner Barbara was kind enough to loan us her lovely guy. A schoolmaster like him can cost about 10k$, so this is a very nice opportunity for some of our students to school higher level Dressage movements. How great is that!
How do you learn to have the correct 2 point position ? You should be able to reach straight down and touch your outside of your knee.
Need some firewood for next winter? Grab your loopers and come on over. Cleaning things up.
