Pinellas Comfort Systems has an opportunity for an experienced Payroll and Accounts-Payable clerk to join our office team. This position will have full responsibility for employee Payroll and Accounts-Payable. They will also assist with other essential office duties.
Job Hours: Full time; Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm, 1 hour lunch

Job Duties:
• Employee Payroll
Timecard and dispatch/work report verification
Weekly employee commission and bonus reports
Holiday/vacation/time-off reporting
Processing direct deposits / bank transfers
Processing and distribution of pay stubs
• Accounts Payable Processing
Verifying/reconciling billing statements
Processing vendor payments (checks and online payments)
Maintaining AP files
Contacting AP accounts
• Credit Card Audit
Reconciling credit card charges and receipts
Entering credit card charge data into internal systems
Processing credit card payments
• Manufacturer Warranty/Parts Claims
Research and verify warranty eligibility
Identify and tag warranty parts
Process vendor and manufacturer claims
• Filing
• Telephone support
• Other office duties as assigned
General Qualifications
• A High School diploma, a degree in accounting or a related field is preferred
• A minimum of 1 year of accounting and or payroll work experience
• Experience with Quick Books and MS Office/Excel
• Excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical discrepancies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional interpersonal and telephone skills

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to efficiently Maintain & Trouble Shoot Residential and Light Commercial HVAC systems
EPA Certified, Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must have Trade specific tools
Pass a background & drug test
Well groomed, neat appearance
Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written)
Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations
Maintain a clean and orderly company vehicle at all times
