A word from St. Luke's Cataract & Cornea Surgeon, Dr. Brandon Rodriguez: Patients have better outcomes when they are more in control of their health, better informed about their options and actually participate in their care. I am a stickler for spending time talking with my patients so I can learn as much as they have to tell me. That, combined with the advantages St. Luke’s offers patients, plus the most advanced diagnostics and precision measurements are essential to getting the best visual outcomes.
Are you ready to improve your vision? A better quality of vision means a better quality of life for our patients. Our history of innovation, thoughtful adoption of new technologies, and unsurpassed commitment to care truly gives our patients the best opportunity to achieve their vision goals. #lifechangingvision
Meet Carol Clingerman, board-certified Doctor of Audiology at St. Luke's. She specializes in digital signal processing of hearing aid technology. In addition, she has vast experience in audiometric evaluations, and hearing aid fittings/verification. This was a monumental moment for the history of St. Luke’s Cataract & Laser Institute. How many of you visited the Tarpon Springs location when it first opened?
What is a cataract? Answer: A cataract is a clouding of the eye’s natural crystalline lens. The lens is responsible for focusing light and producing clear, sharp images. When we’re young the lens is clear but as we age, it begins to harden and become cloudy. The cloudy lens diminishes quality of vision. Common symptoms of cataracts are: ✔ Glare around lights ✔ Difficulty reading fine print ✔ Dulling of colors ✔ Trouble driving at night It’s important to recognize the signs and never undermine the significance of a regular eye exam. Schedule your exam today by calling 888-904-0000 to book an appointment with St. Luke’s Cataract & Laser Institute.
Why choose St. Luke’s? Patient History: Patients from over 75 countries have visited us for cataract and refractive surgery and for treatment of other diseases of the eye including retina diseases and glaucoma.
